Private Vision Board Parties
I started hosting vision board parties in 2022 as a way to help my new church family find a creative way to capture the parts of their life that they wanted to see more of. Since then there have been several more and hopefully these will continue on into 2024 and beyond.
I think I love them so much because they help us to have a visual reminder of the things our hearts desire and it's easier to rember what we are working toward. Ultimately, we want to see God's will done in our lives, but that doesn't mean that we can't co-labor with him and share our desires and have a great time doing it.
It is important for me to emphasize that my classes do not use words like manifest, or encourage covetousness. Instead we are just creating space in our day to explore beautiful images that awaken a little spark inside so we know what to pray for. Always be seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit on your journey first.
